Step-by-Step Installation

Scenario 1: Indoor Wall Mount with Plug Connection

  1. Mount the Light Box: Secure the LED light box onto your indoor wall using the provided mounting hardware.
  2. Run the Cable: Allow the electrical cable to visibly run down the wall towards a power point.
  3. Connect the Power: Plug the adapter into a power point to power the light box.
  4. Important Safety Tip: Never cover or seal the adapter inside a wall or leave it outdoors.

Scenario 2: Running Cable Through a Wall Conduit

  1. Prepare the Wall: If you’re passing the electrical cable through a wall conduit, make sure the wall is ready for the cable installation.
  2. Install the Light Box: Secure the LED light box onto your wall using the provided mounting hardware.
  3. Route the Cable: Pass the cable through the conduit to keep it hidden and protected.
  4. Hire an Electrician: It’s important to have a licensed electrician perform this task to comply with local building regulations.
  5. Safety Reminder: Never cover or seal the adapter inside a wall or leave it outdoors.

Scenario 3: Hardwiring into an Existing Electrical System

  1. Prepare the Installation Area: If you’re hardwiring the LED light box into an existing electrical system, start by preparing the wall and electrical connections.
  2. Mount the Light Box: Secure the light box on your wall as per the provided instructions.
  3. Hardwire the Cable: Connect the light box cable directly into your electrical system.
  4. Hire a Licensed Electrician: For this setup, it is crucial to use a qualified electrician to ensure compliance with local regulations and to safely hardwire the light.
  5. Additional Components: This scenario will require a new adapter and dimmer components specified by the electrician.
